SEE4.0 – Enabling Industry 4.0 in Small European Enterprises

Main objectives:
The main objective of SEE 4.0 project is to strengthen Industry 4.0 – related key competences of SMEs owners and managers through developing innovative training materials purposely designed to train and equip this group with Industry 4.0 relevant knowledge, skills and competences.
The training materials will be tailored to the needs of learners, as practical as possible, with case studies and best practices gathered right from the field where SMEs operate, in contrast to many already available theoretical materials, coming from research organisations or consulting companies, hardly applicable in SME settings. They will be available in all partner’s languages (ES, GR, PL, RO) and in English.
The main expected impact of the project is the reduction of the skills mismatch related to Industry 4.0 by equipping SMEs owners and managers with the SEE4.0 training toolkit and allowing them to acquire Industry 4.0 skills that are inevitable in today’s and future business market conditions.

Main results:
Introducing Industry 4.0 to SMEs – practical implementation paper
This output will provide essential information for implementation of Industry 4.0 in SME’s environment in the form of a collection of “recipes” suitable for SMEs that can be directly used by the owners and managers of SMEs. It will include practical approaches that support SMEs in the implementation of Industry 4.0 taking advantage on the decreasing costs of technologies like 3D printing, robotics, Augmented Reality, etc.
